Isabella Long Profile

I recently performed at the Edinburgh film festival in a play called thirsty based of four flatmates who are pretending and competing to be in the best heterosexual relationships. It was very farcical using a lot of improv and movement. I absolutely love acting in something that can make an audience member feel so many different things at once and leaving the play thinking. I sing regularly and have been in lots of musicals while studying for example I was in a production of 9t05 playing the role of Roz and loved being able to play a character that appeared to be very headstrong but was clearly very insecure. I also played Ilsa from Spring Awakening I loved being able to add things to her story maybe other people hadn’t and taking a character who doesn’t always get talked about into the light a bit more. I love doing a range of different acting and I love being pushed out my comfort zone.
