Ian Kanyuka Profile

I am an actor of African origin, born and raised in Malawi (East Africa). I have pursued the arts all my life, studied theatre briefly in the US, and went to Film School in Hong Kong before moving to Canada in 2019. I have worked as a PA, an AD on many film sets from independent features to music videos, to TV shows. I was featured in an independent feature that screened recently, as a supporting cast member on the Film titled “Fresh off Markham”. I am currently taking classes at The Second City as well as EVN studios as I continue my acting journey. I love music and movies, play the guitar, and I am a competent dancer when it comes to hip hop, also I can rap. I also possess the unique Abi to move my eyebrows and ears individually (a skill I am very proud of). I also like to laugh and to make others laugh, I may even consider training to become a comedian in the very near future.
