My name is Hwain Cho, and I am a UK-based stunt performer originally from South Korea. I have seven years of professional experience working in the Korean film industry and have been based in the UK for the past year.
I have worked across a variety of stunt roles and on-set environments. Although I did not come from a traditional martial arts background, I developed my skills through consistent training, discipline, and practical experience. My strongest areas are hand-to-hand combat and sword action.
In addition to stunt work, I have a background in contemporary dance, which supports fluid movement, balance, and dynamic choreography. I also trained in acting, allowing me to support performance-driven action and character-based scenes when required.
