About Me
Heather Mislang (They/She) is a Vancouver-based singer, actress, dancer, musician, and voiceover artist from Whitehorse, Yukon. She is a proud queer Filipino-Canadian artist that graduated from the Canadian College of Performing Arts' Musical Theatre diploma program, where she gained skills in dance, voice, stage combat, improv, clowning, accents, and theatre and film acting, studying under a variety of well-known Canadian industry professionals. Apart from acting, Heather has experience as a jazz and classical pianist, flutist, lead singer in a rock band, and as an electric and acoustic guitarist. She is a very strong comedic and character actor, being very comfortable with physical comedy and improv but also thrives in emotional roles, as seen from the recent short film she was in with SFU about depression and mental health. Heather also is a martial artist, having trained in Karate and Kobudo and a voice actor, having voiced for animated short films and audiobooks.
