I have had a great interest in acting from a young age, always wanting to perform and try my hand at different types of performance whether acting, dancing or singing. As I grew older, acting became more of a passion and I pursued Drama at a GCSE level. This was when I was finally able to understand the technicalities of performing, and how much goes on behind the scenes, which only enhanced my love for the art further. My only drawback has been the confidence in my own ability to pursue acting as a career, however I have recently been encouraged to follow my dreams no matter how many people tell me they may be 'unrealistic'.
