About Me
Gerry’s career spans three decades performing in Theatre, TV and Film, with appearances across the UK including, New Theatre, Hull; Apollo Theatre, Oxford; Theatre Royal, Nottingham; Grand Theatre, Blackpool and Pavilion Theatre, Weymouth, with variety stars such as Ken Dodd, Les Dawson and Keith Harris & Orville.
On TV, she has enjoyed day players roles in both Coronation Street and Eastenders as well as appearing in a number of episodes of ‘This Way Up’ with Brian Connolly as his wife. Her lead role in Cliff Richard’s music video, ‘We should be together this Christmas’ saw her featured on both 'This Morning' and 'The Gloria Hunniford Show’.
After a 12-year hiatus, where she retrained as a counsellor, Gerry returned to acting in 2018 with a showcase at The Lowry Theatre. More recently, she wrote her first short play, which was staged in Liverpool this year and which she hopes to develop into a web series in 2024.
