George Loynes Profile

George is a young actor making his first steps into the professional world, after amassing extensive experience on amateur and student stages. He recently made his professional theatre debut in September with a new drama/horror play, ‘Quiet Light’. He has also performed for the past two years consecutively at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and has also recently performed at the National Student Drama Festival, the Wanstead Fringe Festival, and GrimFest. At university, he established himself as an active player in the Oxford University Drama Society, performing in 14 plays, and directing 2 more himself. Since October 2025, George has also been honing his understanding of stagecraft by writing weekly theatre reviews for The Vu, Jamais Vu Productions' online hub for written content about fringe and student theatre.
