George Loynes Profile

George is an aspiring actor with lots of experience in student and amateur theatre, now making his first steps into the professional world. He recently made his professional theatre debut in September with a new drama/horror play, ‘Quiet Light’. At university, he established himself as an active part of the Oxford University Drama Society, performing in 13 plays, and directing 2 more himself. He has also performed for the past two years consecutively at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and has also recently performed at the National Student Drama Festival, the Wanstead Fringe Festival, and GrimFest. Since October 2025, George has also been honing his understanding of stagecraft by writing weekly theatre reviews for The Vu, Jamais Vu Productions' online hub for written content about fringe and student theatre.
