Geoff Dunlavey Profile

I began life attending a school for disobedient or 'naughty' children on three day release from regular mainstream school. Later, I attended college studying drama and media up to higher national diploma level. I formally trained as an actor with Tyneside Unity Theatre for three years. Typecast as a villain for obvious reasons - looking on from life - In my acting, I am comfortable with this but would like to be stretched. I also trained as a director and facilitator with Live Theatre, Newcastle and Headway Theatre Company. Shortly after training, I established a drama training company in my native Newcastle upon Tyne, and after that, established an agency representing artists from the performing, literary and visual arts. Additional work as a youth leader reflecting on my own upbringing working with young offenders and children who are classed as 'at risk'. It is a job that I love and will never ever quit. I also run a confidence and assertive training facility for adults.
