About Me
Frank Wilson
At 54 years of age — though often mistaken for being in his 30s — Frank Wilson has spent over three decades performing nationally and internationally. He began his journey with the pioneers of Hip Hop Theatre, having the privilege of working alongside Benji Reid and Jonzi D during the formative years of the UK Hip Hop Theatre movement — a legacy that would later give rise to Breakin’ Convention at Sadler’s Wells.
Frank’s career evolved into Street Dance Theatre, where his performances include the Olivier Award–winning Pied Piper, The Five by Boy Blue, and Into the Hoods by Kate Prince’s ZooNation — the first Street Dance Theatre production to be staged in London’s West End.
Beyond performing, Frank is a dedicated educator, choreographer, and mentor who has helped shape the next generation of artists in Hip Hop and Street Dance Theatre. His teaching blends discipline with creativity, authenticity, and storytelling — values that reflect the true spirit of Hip Hop culture.
