About Me
Francisco Barradas is a London-based European actor, mover and theatre maker, passionate about dramatic storytelling from an off-kilter perspective, and interested in raw-gut wrenching-loud art, with a poetical kick to it.
Trained in Portugal and London, and most recently with Gecko Theatre, Francisco has grown a passion for bold visuals and dynamic movement, which inspires his work as an actor and director for stage and film.
During his studies at East 15's BA Acting and Contemporary Theatre course, he wrote and directed his debut award-winning short 'I Don’t Trust People'; and Tom Barr-Forrest's 5-star award-winning “Best Fringe Show”, new musical play 'Oubliette', which quickly transferred to London’s Off-West End, at The Other Palace, and to other London venues shortly after.
After graduating, Francisco co-founded Barking Hearts Theatre, a company that aims to create ambitious, highly visual and physically demanding theatre.
