Greetings! My name is Dereck and I’m a nurse coordinator living in Atlanta Ga . I’m originally from a small farming town in Nc , Ellerbe. My background is hospitality, I bartended for 25 plus years and a multitude of other jobs that involved customer service. I’m also a nurse . I’ve dedicated my nursing career to working with Veterans and the elderly. I currently hold a position with the Veterans Affairs Administration as a nurse coordinator. It has been a dream of mine from a very early age to be an actor. I’m new to all of this and just trying to get my foot in the door . Starting something new at the age 50 was a bit daunting, but if I never tried how would I ever know ….. so here I’m putting my best foot forward and trying to make my dreams come true ! I’ve always been a late bloomer of sorts , however when I set out to do something , determination has always been a one my strong suits!
