Debra Montalvo Profile

Debra Montalvo has been a prominent figure in the entertainment and performing arts industry for over 30 years. After earning a Fine Arts Degree from Lamar University, she embarked on a dynamic career as a professional dancer, choreographer, instructor, and dance competition judge. For nearly two decades, she also owned and successfully operated two dance studios.

Upon retiring from the dance world, Debra decided to pursue another long-held passion: acting. Trained in the Meisner Method and Improvisation, she seamlessly transitioned into her new career.

Debra has appeared in various regional and national commercials for major brands such as Spectrum, Bank of America, Choctaw Casino, Doritos and Eli Lilly. Her film credits include "L.I.F.E. Anthologies," directed by award-winning director Dathan Smith, the short film "Passing Through," directed by Erica Silverman.
Currently, she is preparing to reprise her role as Mary for the immersive play "The Crimson," with Capernaum Studios.
