About Me
Daniel was born in Lewisham. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in music from the University of Westminster (2012).
His initial broadcasting experience was on Smoke Radio, the university’s radio station (October 2009 – May 2012), then on the late-night World Music Show on Bang Radio (now Beat London) (October 2012 – April 2013).
In May 2014, he had work experience as a continuity announcer at Channel 4 and E4, with his first announcement being Bob’s Burgers on E4.
Shortly after, Dan was the voice of BBC Radio 1Xtra and voiced campaigns including Sport Relief content with Greg James. Dan continues to voice radio campaigns with the BBC.
He was the first ever continuity announcer at BET International for their UK Channel, working in the United States and London (July 2014 – November 2016).
He presented a music programme on www.radiokingonline.com (October 2014 – April 2016) and since August 2020, has broadcast a two-hour show on Worldwide FM (a station launched by Giles Peterson).
