Carter Harrell Profile

I have been a performer for as long as I can remember. I grew up with an older sister who was a dancer and would often spend my weekends traveling and watching her dance. I was so inspired by her, I decided to dance as well. I danced competitively and would perform for anybody who would watch when I was younger. Being obsessed with performing is something that hasn’t left. As I slowly distanced myself from dancing into sports, I found the intersecting lines between both of them. Being able to do go on a basketball court or football field with the pressure to perform gave me that same rush as dancing. It’s the crowd/ audience watching you and expecting a show. It’s the craft and the preparation that you put in and let the work show. Over the past couple of years I have taken same attention to detail to acting. I have taken classes at studios all throughout New York City and am enrolled in the New York Film Academy this fall.
