Carla Wilson Profile

From a young age I always enjoyed acting and drama. From the ages of 14 - 20, I attended a weekly drama group, where we'd periodically put on small performances. It also provided me with the opportunity to partake in a scheme called Talent Match, in which I was able to perform a little presentation with a group for the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, at the Buckingham Palace gardens. I also enjoyed pursuing other acting opportunities such as, a one time theatre performance called Williams Win and a couple of summer projects related to my drama group. I also took drama for my GCSE's and AS level.

I've learnt a lot about acting though the years in terms of different styles (for instance, Brecht vs Stanislavski) or theatre techniques vs screen acting, and I feel that I have some great foundational skills to bring to the table.

Although I've been out of acting for a while due to life circumstances, I still have a strong desire to rekindle my love for it again.
