Camryn Soens Profile

I am an American actor originally from New Jersey who is currently based in the UK and a graduate of the BA Drama programme at the University of Exeter. I have experience in musical theatre, straight acting and film acting as well as experience behind the scenes. Alongside my devotion to acting, I have a passion for music that I fuel by playing guitar and writing songs. I have received practical training in skills such as screen acting, devising as a group, story-telling, and staging a text. I possess a particular interest in imagination and its relationship with a performance, not only as the performer, but also as the audience. All my life I have been able to turn any room into a performance space, putting on skits and plays with my friends as children, and the imagination I had as a child still fuels my acting today. My goal is to continue developing the skill of tapping into imagination through performance and apply that to my professional work.
