Callista Tay Profile

I’ve trained in dance at an advanced level, with strong experience in ballet and confidence in contemporary and hip hop, which has taught me body awareness and the ability to portray characters through movement. To enhance my performance skills, I’ve completed two monologue classes and an acting class focused on character work and slates, helping me transfer my dance experience to acting. I have background experience as an extra on the student film New Year’s Prayer. Additionally, I have rifle and air rifle training, experience as a Royal Canadian Air Cadet, and research experience with the University of Calgary helping design a medical device. I am a first-year dental hygiene student at UBC, preparing for upcoming clinical experience, and temporarily based in Vancouver during the winter term. I’m eager to continue building on-set experience and expanding my acting opportunities! I can take roles in Vancouver, BC until April, then in Calgary, AB from May through August!
