Hi, I’m Blu, a 21-year-old actor passionate about telling stories that really resonate. After an inspiring year with the National Youth Theatre, where I opened a scratch show, I discovered how much I love diving headfirst into new roles and experiences. Now, I’m studying Contemporary Theatre at university, and it’s deepening my appreciation for how transformative storytelling can be. As a gay man who’s faced prejudice both in life and in the industry, I know firsthand how powerful representation and inclusion are. It’s vital that people in my community not only see themselves reflected on stage and screen but are also welcomed as creators in the industry. Acting, for me, isn’t just about playing a role; it’s about bringing truth to every story and creating a space for voices that are often left out. Acting isn’t just a job to me; it’s my way of opening up worlds, challenging perspectives, and making sure people feel seen. I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me.
