Ben Oliver Profile

All of my skills towards acting started at school in musical theatre. It started with me playing Roger in "Grease" and later Bill Sikes in "Oliver!". Singing withe emotion and acting while singing, showcased my skills. It boosted my confidence and that is my best quality.

As much as I enjoy Musical theatre and the aid it has done in me becoming a performer, it is theatre where my heart lies. I have just completed my A-Levels, where I studied A-Level English Literature. It really aided me in deciphering emotions in character and their shared dialogue. I emplored this analysis into my acting, helping me emphasise and understand my character which I believe is another of my best qualities.

I used these skills to my performance of a drug addict in a stage show called things "I know to be true". I took the role very seriously, considering the subject matter, and that hard work was payed off with the performance. Out of all of these qualities I have presented, my hard work is my best.
