Ben Magilton Profile

Hello, my name is Ben Magilton I'm an actor based out of Newcastle after graduation from my BA Drama Course at Northumbria University. I have performed in a variety of independent pieces including; music videos (Maintenance Men- Charlie Whyte), short films (Cake Eater- Ariadne Vessaoker) and student films, theatre productions (Off the Wall- Customs House, Reaping the Benefits- Terry Patterson) as well an extra in the Hollywood film Dungeons and Dragons: Honour Amongst Thieves.

My studies at university have left me familiar and skilled at the practices of large number of practitioners. These include but are not limited to; Stanislavski, Brecht, Grotowski, Laben, Artaud and my personal favourite Charles Mee. These skills equip me well in studying and performing a huge variety of characters contemporary or classical, as well being able to work excellently in a group or independently.
