About Me
I love working with people and meeting people from diverse communities, sharing experiences and cultures. I also love travelling, meeting local community and have given an insight on their daily lives. I’m sensitive to people’s needs and always personable and professional in my approach with the public, colleagues, and stakeholders. In addition to my career ranging from community development, community engagement, social services, TV/media, networking and making differences in people’s lives, I am also passionate on volunteering, having dedicated my voluntary services in the last 25 years to the local community. As a result, I gained several accolades including being awarded an MBE in 2011 in recognition of public services; as Highly Commended for European Diversity Award's Inspirational Role Model of Year (2013); and GG2 Leadership and Diversity: Achievement through Adversity (2013) I m extra actor for Coronatuon Street, Eastenders and Emmetdale, The Crown and Mark and Spence advert.
