Anna Powell Profile

I am a performer trained in musical theatre at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts. I have continued my training at the University of Exeter through the Exeter Footlights Society, Shotgun Theatre Society and Theatre with Teeth. At uni, I performed in Bandstand at the Exeter Northcott in January, I choreographed ‘Kipps! The New Half a Sixpence Musical’ in June, performed in an original jazz musical, Black Martini, which will be going to the Edinburgh Fringe in August, and my voice was recorded as the music for Theatre with Teeth’s original play which will also be performed at the Edinburgh Fringe. I am trained in classical and opera singing as well as musical theatre and pop singing. I am trained in jazz dancing and ballet and can do basic level tap (I am quite good at picking it up though!). I also really enjoy acting whether this is in musicals or straight acting opportunities. At Tring Park, I played Mrs Walsingham in Kipps, and was in Just So in my second year.
