About Me
Angela Rose is an actor and former secondary school teacher. She transitioned to acting recently and graduated from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts in 2021. She is known for thorough character preparation, emotional honesty, and creativity. Angela’s recent screen work includes a recurring role in Smoggie Queens (BBC/Hat Trick Productions).
In addition to acting, Angela coaches children in one of the UK’s most deprived wards, many of whom have English as an additional language (EAL), supporting their development of communication skills and confidence. She also runs an actor gym and network in Teesside, and creates and performs in independent projects and solo shows, often championing other writers’ work. Outside of work, Ang is a mum and auntie and enjoys spending time with her family (and her cats) and dragging them on long walks in the countryside ( the family…not the cats!).
