Agaba Joy Promise Profile

I’m Agaba Joy Promise—an Ugandan actress, writer, producer, and musician. I’ve acted in Deception, Second Chance Uganda, SANYU, and Mistake (lead), as well as You May Kiss the Bride Goodbye and Tea Fields by Badilisha Films. I’m currently developing my feature film Tethered and I’m a certified graduate of the Film Income Accelerator Workshop 2025, which was held under Opportunities Are Here (by the International Trade Centre and European Union) and facilitated by Bweru Films and Quantum Dynamics. I hold a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Makerere University Business School, and previously worked as a Marketing Executive at Silver Springs Hotel. I now run 18 Nile Avenue Media LTD, where I bring bold African stories to life.
