About Me
A D Stranik is a writer and musician who has appeared in a number of theatre productions, TV shows, and films over the years—everything from a musical adaptation of DH Lawrence's The Virgin & the Gypsy to Banquo in the Open University's production of Macbeth. His most challenging role was in The Buddy Holly Story. (He played the guy with the glasses.)
He has appeared all over the world as a solo artist and with the bands The Silver Brazilians and The Broadway Twisters. and is also the author of two highly acclaimed novels, Monomania, Mon Amour and The World Belongs to Jane & Me.
Most recently, he has worked on Guy Ritchie's MobLand and the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced Apex, as well as BBC productions Sister Boniface, Murder Before Evensong, Father Brown, and Back to School as himself, talking about Muhammad Ali.
