Adelle Overton Profile

I've been acting since I joined a local theatrical company, The Young Shakespeare Society, in 1993, at the age of 13.
I continued to expand my acting experience through spoken word poetry performances, re-enactment and immersive theatrical experiences.
In 2009 I took part in independent film making, at first as an extra, then later in a few speaking roles.
In 2011, I was fortunate enough to find full-time acting work in immersive theatrical experiences, Zombie Boot Camp and Zed Events, where our customers took centre stage in the action, rather than spectating.
I was trained in a series of roles including convincing military and police personnel, firearms handling, radio use, special effects make-up and prop making, safe stunt performance, creature movement coordination and choreography. Unfortunately in 2017, I was medically retired, but I continue to volunteer as a voice actor in the Sump City Radio podcast and my own YouTube AkonyteVA, where I have learnt video and audio editing
