Adebukunola (Bukky) Babalola Profile

Bukky Babalola (B.Sc BOTANY, PGD Mass Communication, MA Communication) is a media enthusiast. Video wheels, Hitz ONTV, Back in time with Bukky, Shake down the 90’s, Lunch time pop, Fashion Trend and St. Lauren Nollywood Buzz, are some of the Television and Radio Programmes she has presented and produced. Bukky has also worked as a News Anchor with TVC.

Bukky’s acting skills have been well commended. On the rave making NTA Network soap opera- HILLS AND VALLEYS, she played the lead role of JOKOTADE (a saucy, no nonsense business tycoon). She anchored St. Lauren Nollywood Buzz, featuring Nollywood updates and exclusive interviews with A list Nollywood celebrities which aired on 7 radio stations across Nigeria. Bukky has a few award wins and nominations to her name- Winner of S.H.U.S.S.O Most Eloquent Student in English (2000), Dynamix Award Nominee for Best TV Presenter (2008), Dynamix Award Nominee for Best TV Presenter (2009) and Winner of Peak Award for Best Youth Presenter (2009).
