Abigail Collins Profile

I am best known as a comic physical performer, using character & circus skills. I revel in improvisation & role play, but always deliver a script as requested. I am adept at a variety of accents & vocal characterisation. I have worked professionally since graduating with a Masters in Drama from Bristol University, after achieving 1st Class BA Hons in English Literature at Goldsmiths. I starred as Fern in the Australian TV series Guinevere Jones & won Best Actress at the Comedy Film Festival of America in the Belgian short GPS. I was winner of Fool Of Muncaster 2 years running & was dubbed, "the female Tommy Cooper" by the Spectator for my comedy magic routines. I have been the warm up act for Bill Bailey, Julian Clary, Denise Van Outen, Toyah & many more. My circus routines involve 10 hula hoops & a cocktail served on my head (while singing in heels) but I am also at home with Shakespeare & Chekov. My novel Everybody's Doing It was published in 2021, is now in development as a series.
